A simple but genius plan to make this your best year ever!
Resolutions, goal setting, promises.
All of these things are essentially the same thing.
They can be so much fun to create, but implementing them is whole other Oprah.
When it comes to New Year’s resolutions, usually I just jot a few notes down on paper and discuss the major family goals with my husband. But this year I found a helpful FREE downloadable booklet that really helped organize and plan my general pondering.
It is called a Year Compass and what makes this different from most yearly planning guides is the focus on the relationship between ending one year and beginning a new one. As a person who loves closure, the idea of taking time to finish a year off by reflecting on influences, accomplishments, and discoveries before deciding on new ambitions really spoke to me.
Because I have the patience of a fruit fly, I am constantly looking towards the future and imagining all of the possibility that comes with it, but I rarely bother to reflect on what got me to this point in the first place. The Year Compass forced me to slow down and let go of things that had been bothering me and forgive both myself and others for matters that hurt.
If you would like to end your 2015 and begin your 2016 off right, then click HERE to download your free Year Compass workbook!
The only thing missing from the Year Compass is any direction on how to actually execute your goals! Making plans is easy, it is following through on them that is difficult.
The good news is, I have just come out with my newest e-book called WillPOWER: Become an expert at being AWESOME!
In it I give you exact directions on how to create goals, construct goal plans, and how to implement them. In addition this book will explain
- how you can grow and strengthen your willpower
- how and why you should create routines
- how to get rid of negative thinking
- what to do about dreaded procrastination
It seems to me that there are plenty of goal setting workbooks, but they fail to teach you what to do after you have set your goals! My WillPOWER book is the key that will unlock the purpose of goal setting and teaches you how to actually apply your goals to your life.
By combining the lessons learned in both the Year Compass and the WillPOWER book, 2016 is sure to be your best year ever!
