Excising is a wonder way to stay fit and healthy. I bet many of you not only work out regularly, you also make sure to listen to some uplifting music to help you get your energy up and flowing.
Music can be a wonderful way to take your mind off of the pain and sweat and tears you might experience while exercising, but it can also be a distraction from living in the moment. The next time you work out, especially if it is going for a walk or run outside, instead of plugging into your music and tuning out your pain, leave your electronics at home.
Feel the wind hit your face and enjoy how it cools off your sweaty brow. Listen to the sounds of nature around you. Can you hear birds? Breathe deep and smell the leaves changing from green to gold. Notice how beautiful the landscape is. Acknowledge the pain of your muscles and be proud at how hard you are working to get into shape.
