The tropical rainforest in Costa Rica is an unexpected yet magical setting for a glamorous Trashy Diva frock.
For those who follow me on my social media, especially Instagram, you already know I spent the second week of April in the rainforest of Costa Rica.
Most of my time was spent relaxing by the pool, riding horses, wafting down rivers, and lounging in the natural hot springs.
However, as a fashionista, I also scheduled a lively photo shoot so I could show off my brand new Trashy Diva Lena Tie Dress in Irish Polka which I received care of Trashy Diva. Aren’t I just the luckiest girl in the world!
Isn’t this frock swoon worthy? I happen to adore Trashy Diva and consider designer Candice Gwinn a kindred spirit.
Because I was on vacation I decided I would pretend I was an actual supermodel and thought I would editorialize the dress a bit. I added my collection of hair flowers to give it a bit of a Frida Kahlo look. Though Ms. Kahlo was from Mexico, I found Costa Rica to be a perfect mixture of Mexican/Latin American culture with a big heaping dose of Hawaii.
Did you notice the exquisite detail on the bodice? Perfection and it gives your bust a bit of an extra umph! The fabric of the dress is a flattering forest green with slightly off white polka dots.
As you can see from the photos, I had an absolutely wonderful time in Costa Rica and will be sharing more of my vacation over the next few weeks. In the meanwhile, be sure to check out Trashy Diva and all of their delightful classic fashion.
