This kitschy and fun video will show you a cool way to hull strawberries using a drinking straw!
If I could pick one fruit to eat for the rest of my life I think it might be the strawberry.
As a native of Southern California I am very spoiled when it comes to strawberries because around here we can get the most fragrant and sweet strawberries almost all year long.
With that said, I also know that for many of you seeing strawberries in the grocery stores is the first sign of spring.
Now that it is March I figure the first strawberries of the season should be rolling into your part of the woods any minute now, so I put together this little video showing you an easy way to hull strawberries using the end of a drinking straw!

Isn’t that amazing! Ok, so this trick isn’t going to change your life, but I swear it works. It is even better if you can get your children involved because they love sticking the straw into the berry and magically removing the hull. My daughter was delighted every time she saw me do it and my older boys laughed like maniacs when they tried it for themselves.
I guess the simple act of hulling a strawberry counts as “magic” around here. I think we need to get out more often!
