Mint is the perfect transitional color from winter to spring because it reminds us of the crisp feeling we get when eating a peppermint, but the bright pastel also brings to mind the young foliage that is about to bloom.
I love all shades of mint because they are the sister of my favorite color: turquoise.
Mint can be seen all over my home but I don’t have much of it in my wardrobe, mainly because my skin has a very yellow undertone and certain shades of mint can make me look insipid.
But for most people, mint is a gorgeous color on them! If you are like me and find mint a difficult shade to wear, then do what I do and keep it towards the lower half of your body in such things as skirts, shoes, and accessories. That way you can still enjoy this lovely shade and not look like you are on your deathbed.
