Over winter break I had the chance to read a few books. Two of them were the books Wolf Of Wall Street was based on. I enjoyed them but don’t recommend them because they were way too long and the lead character was really a horrible person. You might as well see the movie, which I did and quite enjoyed. But you have to understand, I love me some Leonardo.
I also had the pleasure of reading Elegance, a delightful story of a woman who finds a vintage book about being elegant and uses it to change her life. It didn’t go in exactly the direction I would of liked, but the story is charming and is an easy read. (HERE)
The vintage book the lead character finds is actually a real book, which I purchased after I read the first book, and loved it. I am tempted to write my own book about being elegant only of course, more modern. (HERE)
This past weekend my friend dragged me to an Outlander event because apparently this book, which I have never read, is now a TV series. I got to hear from the author, the producer, and the lead actors, and the book actually seems like something I would enjoy, so I will be devouring it when I travel to Alt Summit in two weeks. Have you ever read Outlander? Did you like it? (HERE)
I also updated my “Book Club” Pinterest page with quite a few of my favorite titles so be sure to check out what else I am reading. (HERE)
If you have any book recommendations, I am always adding to my list of “must read” books.
