It is transition time when it comes to the weather and fashion. It may be early spring, but depending on where you live you probably aren’t breaking out the short skirts and sandals quite yet. That is why I like wearing layers. Around here it tends to be cold in the morning, then heats up in the afternoon, but as soon as the sun goes down it gets cold again. A cardigan is the perfect solution to the crazy weather. I found a whole bunch that I really like and thought I would share them with you.
How pretty is this sweater (here)? So fresh for spring but layered with a blouse and jacket it should be perfect for the transitional weather.
Black and white polka dot cardigan: Here and here. This would be perfect with a pair of mint green capris or a pencil skirt.
I am always a sucker for a vintage 1950s embroidered cardigan. It adds such a glamorous touch to any outfit.
Anthropologie is showing some nice basic cardigans with a little special something. Here and here.
I love the fresh look of stripes and flower combined on this cardigan (here). You could dress it up with a skirt or just throw it on with a pair of jeans and some flats.
This cardigan caught my eye because of the whimsical birds and tiny little circle print in that pretty shade of sage green (here).
I leave you with a vintage cardigan that I have admired from afar for months! I am not linking it because it is reserved, but isn’t it a beauty? So chic.
I think the bird cardigan and the last cardigan are my favorites. Which ones are your favorites?
