It’s Altitude Summit week here on The Glamorous Housewife. On Wednesday I am off to the Alt Summit blogging conference and needless to say I am jumping out of my skin with excitement. I will be spending three full days meeting with other bloggers, learning about how to make this blog better, and hobnobbing with some really cool brands like Land Of Nod and BHG! I don’t know a single person there, but I am hoping to be coming home with brand new friends and opportunities.

I made this funny little gif to show you ladies what I am taking on the plane with me to stay entertained. So many people do posts on how to pack a suitcase, but they never mention what they schlep with them on the airplane. Of course I will have my wallet and phone, two things I never leave home without. As a Southern California girl I am never far from my sunglasses, so they too are included. I always bring a book or magazines with me when I fly because of the persnickety rule of no electronics for take-off and landing. My feet tend to get cold on airplanes, so I make sure to have my favorite slippers. In addition to my iPhone I also bring an iPad  I was thinking of bringing my laptop, but it is crazy heavy so I am just bringing the pad with me and hopefully I can blog with it directly from Alt Summit! I made sure to include a set of my new business cards because you never know who you will meet on a plane, and finally, I always bring my Bose headphones because I have found when I wear them it keeps me from being so tired; the noise from the engines just puts me in a stupor and it is hard for me to snap out of it when I finally land. I know they are crazy expensive, but I do a lot of flying, and they should last for years. For me the cost is totally worth it.
