Daily Outfits
Kittens, it is COLD up in here! LA has been in the 50s, which is practically uninhabitable, if you ask me. I am a California girl through and through, so when the weather gets wonky, so too does my clothing. I never know what to wear! Due to the cold I have been wearing my jeans (here) and finding new life in old sweaters (Mod Cloth sold-out). The bracelets are a combination of old J.Crew and old Kate Spade (similar here and here). The tutorial for my hair-do can be found here.
More oldie but goodies. Every single thing I am wearing has been sold out! Mainly because I purchased everything ages ago. But that is the best thing about wearing “classic” shapes- they never go out of style! Sure the Peter Pan collar is trending right now, but once I am over it I can just remove it from the sweater and I will wear that thing until it falls apart! A striped top is always chic. As for the necklace, that is one of my “real” pieces of jewelry, so it is on the expensive side. With that said, you should check out Mink Jewelers (here). That is a Facebook link, but they update almost every day with the most gorgeous drool worthy items that are far less expensive then Tiffany’s or some other jeweler. With Valentine’s day coming up you might find something you like. I have about 7 items including my wedding band from them and consider them our family jewelers (not to be confused with our family jewels, which is a whole other never to be written post)
I leave you with a fancy outfit. The shirt is the same one I wore last week from Anthropologie (here), and the skirt is a gorgeous leather full skirt that has since sold out (similar here). The hat is one of my favorites, and was probably from Etsy, but I can’t remember when I purchased it. The brooches were passed down to me from my great grandmother, and the shoes are new to me via eBay, which is my new obsession. Aren’t those shoes amazing? Prada. You know much they cost me? $103. For Prada shoes! Seriously! You should check out this pair (here) of Pradas for $25!

I am swooning over those green shoes!!! I just bought the lace peplum shirt from anthro in turquoise and I am obsessed with it. So pretty and it looks gorgeous on everyone!!!!
I’ve been eyeing the turquoise one as well.
Eeps! That bow sweater is lovely! And those white shoes, to die for! I have never been able to find comfortable pointed toe shoes, but I think those would be worth the discomfort!! Thank you for sharing, your style is amazing!!
For some reason I find pointed shoes to be very comfortable, plus the heel is only maybe 2 inches, which is much shorter than many of my heels. I have very weird feet.
All of them are such wonderful outfits, as always! You always wear such nice shoes
Such splendidly pretty ensembles! I love that since I’m now (at long last – yay!) on Instagram (having gotten my first iPhone for Xmas) I get to see these outfits as you post them through the week and then enjoy their inspiring style again on your blog.

Thank you so much for your comment. Unfortunately I don’t read French so I am not sure what it says. If any of my dear readers out there know, please translate it for me! Thanks!
