Last week I seemed to be really into these red pants. I actually wore them twice! And the good news they are on sale. I decided to go with a “sexy secretary” look by adding this fun trompe l’oeil-esque (I am pretty sure I just made up that word) sweater with glasses- also on sale. The shoes are my favorite pair and they are insanely high! But I swear they go with everything. And did I mention they too are on sale? I threw a vintage scarf in my hair because my roots were out of control, and then went to get my hair colored. Would you believe I have been seeing the same hairdresser for over 28 years!
I loved the red pair of pants so much I went out and purchased the same pair in grey! The cat tee shirt is from Mod Cloth, the sweater is old from J.Crew and the shoes are old as well. I looked up the shoes to see if there was any still available and they are all sold out. But I found these that are similar in color, if not in style.
In this outfit I was experimenting with pattern on pattern. The fox tee shirt has very similar colors to the plaid skirt and I liked how they looked together. I decided to add my billy ball boutineer and an old pair of beige heels. The heels have long since been sold out, but here is a somewhat similar pair.
This look is very similar to the first look. I believe in wearing a uniform if you think you look good in something. The pants are the same as above, and the sweater and shoes are old, as is the vintage scarf. I felt very 1960s in this outfit and was attempting to look like I was doing the twist in the full length picture. Fashion is supposed to be fun!
Lots of color in this outfit! The yellow skirt is one of my favorites; I wear it quite often, and it is on sale! The tee shirt has a picture of a Nordic viking maiden, which amused me. I happen to be really into tee shirt art, which might seem sort of unglamorous, but I think tees can be cute if you wear one cut for a woman’s body and don’t let it fade too much. The shoes are old and sold out last summer. My hair has just gotten long enough to pin on top of my head in Heidi braids so I have been wearing it in that hairstyle a lot!
