A few weeks ago when I decided to take my Instagram feed from private to public I realized how much fun Instagram is! I love seeing everyone’s photos and commenting on them. It has made me a much better photographer and I have taken to documenting my outfits with much more regularity. But many of you don’t have fancy phones or Instagram so I thought I would post some of my favorite ensembles here!
I consider this to be a very casual look. The t-shirt is a favorite from ModCloth, the skirt is an incredibly old J.Crew item that was pre Jenna Lyons, and the shoes are from Shop Ruche.
Apparently polka-dots are all the rage in fashion right now. This vintage dress is from Dorothea’s Closet Vintage, one of my sponsors, the belt is old from Anthropologie, the purse is Hermes, and the shoes are Miss L. Fire from a few seasons ago.
Sometimes you just gotta wear a whale skirt! This is one of my 1950s skirts with a crazy print. The necklace is both a clock and a pretty pendant from Shop Ruche and I adore it. I seriously wear it all the time. The belt and shoes are old Anthropologie and the bracelets are from J.Crew and Kate Spade.
Last weekend my family went apple picking and this is what I wore. The dress was thrifted and it has yellow and green apples on it! I mean I just had to wear it while apple picking, right? The hat, white v-neck sweater, and belt are ancient Anthro. The shoes are old Miss L. Fire. I think I need to buy some new clothes!
If memory serves, this dress one of the first things I purchased from Dear Golden Vintage a few years back. The belt is just a gold ribbon, the necklace is the same clock pendant from Shop Ruche, the bracelets are the same as in the other pictures, and the purse is old from Kate Spade (similar here) But the item that really makes this outfit is the SHOES! I saw these a few weeks ago while trolling Neiman Marcus and fell in love.
This is the first five outfits, I will post the rest tomorrow morning. Do you have a favorite? If so which one?
