Dolls, I am so excited to share with you The Glamorous Housewife’s newest sponsor: Sweet Vintage Wrapping Paper! l am very picky about whom I let advertise here on the blog because I want to make sure everyone associated with The Glamorous Housewife is just as myopic about design, quality, and standards as I am. I also want to bring you products or vendors that I actually shop with so you know that if it good enough for The Glamorous Housewife then it is probably good enough for you to use as well.
When Sweet Vintage Wrapping Paper contacted me I was out of control thrilled! I happen to have a collection of vintage wrapping paper that I use to make my gifts more presentable, but I also feel guilty when I use it because I know once used it is gone forever. On the other hand I hate hording beautiful vintage paper because it was meant to be used, not sit in a box. Sweet Vintage Wrapping Paper has now given me a way to keep gorgeously wrapping my presents but without all the guilt!
Look at all the vintage awesomeness! As payment for this post Sweet Vintage Wrapping Paper sent me an assortment of their papers and let me tell you, the pictures don’t even come close to seeing it in person. The weight of the paper is much heavier than any of my vintage wrapping paper, and it is even better than any I have on rolls! (It comes flat packed).
The packages of vintage gift wrap also come with two coordinating gift cards! How cute is that! And everything is made here in the United States, which is a nice bonus.
But you don’t have to use the paper just for wrapping delightful packages. Because the paper is such a high quality and weight you can use it for crafting as well! I decided to make my husband a birthday gift using the Retro Fellows pattern on a simple picture frame.
Isn’t that a smooth looking frame! I especially like the dad sleeping in the hammock. I painted the wooden frame green, let it dry, then I Modpodged the cut wrapping paper and voila! A dad themed picture frame! Of course my husband loved it!
He decided to keep it on his bedside table.
So instead of wrapping your gifts in the same old boring wrapping paper you get from Target, get on over to Sweet Vintage Wrapping Paper and wrap your presents with reproductive vintage awesomeness.
