Hi kittens! I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Every Sunday I pick one craft, then on Monday I buy the supplies and I make the craft on Tuesday. On Wednesday I blog about the craft, how it went, mistakes and all.
Today’s craft is taking old thrift store art and making it new and fabulous again. Basically you take an old ugly painting, place letter stickers on it to create your favorite quote, paint the whole thing white, then peel off the letters to reveal the colors underneath. The whole tutorial can be seen here. I have had this pinned forever, and when I went thrift shopping this past week I found the perfect inexpensive paint by numbers painting for this project. Yay!
* An old vintage painting of any size
* Letter stickers
* White (or color of your choice) spray paint
Tutorial can be seen HERE.
Now I just have to decide which quote I want to use. Any suggestions?
