Isn’t that a cute blouse? Ok, I know it isn’t super vintage but I think it looks like something you could find at Anthro. And guess how much it was? $11.99. Let me say that again. $11.99! I paired it with the skirt I got from my first ‘You Got That Where?’ post. I was attempting a sort of Bridget Bardot or Sophia Loren look. Not sure how successful I was, but I felt like I looked pretty good! The earrings and belt are Anthropologie and the shoes are Tracy Reese and I have owned all three items forever.
Here is the next outfit I scored:
Not quite as glamorous as the first, but even I need to be casual every now and again. The yellow and orange floral blouse has a retro inspired pattern, and the pants are essentially pedal pushers which were very popular in the 50s. The shirt was a whopping $11.99 and the pants were $13.99. So this outfit was 26 bucks! Of course I accessorized it with items that I already owned such as my turquoise bracelet (no idea where I got it) and Miss L. Fire shoes.
As you can see my Ross excursion was a huge success; for $40 bucks I managed to put together two outfits! I’ve got to start working their racks more often.
