Ladies, I am dying for some new summer dresses. I am so over my long sleeves, heavy skirts, and dark colors. I want bright colors! Bare shoulders! Fun patterns! So I decided to spend hours on Etsy, finding you the best of vintage summer dresses. You can click the title under each picture to reach the dress.
Unusual collar sundress
Such an unusual dress. I have never seen a collar quite like this one. It takes this dress to the next level. Plus I am loving the fabric pattern and how it was used on the collar. Amazing find.
Scarf neck sundress
Speaking of necklines, here is one that is creative and fun. I like how the scarf collar was lined in the cornflower blue which really makes the floral pattern pop. What a sweet dress.
Cotton floral sundress
This style of dress is a staple in my wardrobe. It is simple, comfortable, elegant, and easy. It has a little bit of detail at the collar with the v-shape and the buttons. Add some sandals and this dress is perfection.
Purple ribbon sundress
This dress is almost universally flattering. The purple and blue flowers are gorgeous, and I especially love the ribbon details at the shoulders. Though made of cotton, this dress would be perfect for a day time garden wedding or party.
3 for 1 sundress
You must check out this set. It comes with not one but two tops and a matching skirt! The tops can also be paired with a solid white skirt making this a perfect travel outfit.
Novelty print sundress
If this isn’t perfection then I don’t know what is! The gorgeous Solanah at Vixen Vintage is modeling this black and red sundress. I can see this being the hit of the summer barbecue. Adorbs.
I am a sucker for a vintage sailor dress. My mother used to dress me in them when I was a little girl, so they hold a soft spot in my heart. This is one of the better ones I have seen. Add a pair of platforms and a little sweater and this has movie night written all over it.
On first glance this looks like a festive polka dot sundress. But on closer inspection it turns out the dots are actually strawberries! Die. I want to wear this dress while shopping at the farmer’s market- in Paris. Then I want to put my groceries in my wicker basket attached to my vintage bicycle and circle home to cook my French fantasy family a four-star meal. *Le sigh.
And that dolls, is my vintage sundress round-up. So which one is your favorite? Let me know in the comments.
